Audience: Campus and District Administrators, Instructional, Coaches, and Teachers ( Pre-Services Teachers - Level I) (Experienced Teachers - Level II) Description: Participants will learn how Culturally Sustained Linguistically Responsive Teaching leverages diverse students' strengths in the classroom. As a result, learning will be more relvant and effective. Culturally. This professional development opportunity aims to reverse underachievement patterns for marginalized students. To teach culturally and responsively, teachers will begin to recognize the cultural capital and tools students of color bring into the classroom. In addition, participants will b able to use cultural learning tools througout the lesson.
